Biography
Bob Geelkerken started his surgical career at the Leiden University in 1986. Since 1995 he is appointed as a consultant vascular surgeon at Medisch Spectrum Twente. In 1996 he defended his thesis "Ischemic disorders of the splanchnic circulation.In 2016 Bob was appointed as clinical professor at the predecessor of the M3i group. The focus of his research is on "aortic dynamics" and 'tissue perfusion' and mesenteric ischemia
