A first insight in the TOPFIT CitizenLab: citizen science for health & technology
In the TOPFIT Citizenlab researchers and citizen collaborate to develop and implement technological innovations for health and wellbeing. This close collaboration between researchers and citizen is called citizen science. Depending on the topic, health care professionals, policy makers, companies or other stakeholders are being involved too.
But how does this close collaboration look like in practise, what it the impact of citizen science projects, does it influence the quality of research, how does it change perspectives of stakeholders? In this session we will provide some insights, by letting our citizen scientists, researchers, involved companies, health care professionals, and others share their citizen science experiences from the TOPFIT Citizenlab.
