Bridging past and future: 5 years TechMed Centre

Bridging Past and Future: 5 Years of TechMed Centre at the TechMed Event will highlight the remarkable journey of the University of Twente's TechMed Centre since its renewed establishment in 2019. The session will focus on the TechMed Centre's commitment to advancing sustainable and personalized healthcare through cutting-edge technology. Originally conceived to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare in education, research, and innovation, the TechMed Centre has evolved into a frontrunner over the past five years. This success is mirrored in the flourishing associated innovation ecosystems, such as the MedTech Cluster Twente. The Centre’s strength as an innovator, catalyst, and connector is attributed to its state-of-the-art facilities, R&D expertise, and unique culture of collaboration. With short lines of communication and a strong collaborative spirit, the TechMed Centre has fostered an environment conducive to interdisciplinary partnerships among hospitals, knowledge institutions, governments, and companies, forming a dynamic and fertile ecosystem.
